Attorney M. Jean Holbert is an Attorney at the Reaves Law Firm, PLLC. Attorney Holbert is licensed to practice law in Tennessee State Courts and is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee. Ms. Holbert earned her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. Ms. Holbert was awarded the Legal Methods Best Appellate Brief Award during her first year of law school. During her second and third years of law school, Ms. Holbert served on the University of Memphis Law Review, first as a staff member and then as an editor. After graduation, Ms. Holbert started her legal career at the Law Offices of Gary Green, PLLC, where her practice focused primarily on Personal Injury, Nursing Home Neglect, and Medical Negligence cases. Ms. Holbert was promoted to Managing Attorney of the Memphis office of Law Offices of Gary Green in 2010, and she served in that capacity until 2015. During her tenure at Gary Green, PLLC, Ms. Holbert obtained in excess of $11 million in settlements and verdicts for the firm’s clients. Attorney Holbert joined the Reaves Law Firm, PLLC so that she could apply the experience, knowledge, and skills she gained throughout her career to help injured individuals suffering as a result of the negligence of others. Ms. Holbert is happy to return to her first legal passion, representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases. She currently holds the position of Lead Pre-Litigation Attorney.
