Joshua Standerfer is a lifelong Arkansan. During his senior year at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, he decided to go to law school. After graduating with two degrees, one in political science and the other in history, Josh enrolled at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Bowen School of Law. Like many attorneys, Josh enjoyed the drama of the courtroom and thought being an attorney would be an interesting career choice. After having multiple part-time jobs throughout college serving people, Josh knew that a career in law was best for him. After law school, Josh served as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney and as a Senior Deputy Attorney General, prosecuting crimes on behalf of the State of Arkansas. Josh also worked in criminal defense. He has tried over fifty jury trials and hundreds of bench trials.
