Sara Schafer is a civil litigator in our litigation department with over 10 years of experience handling personal injury and automobile accidents cases. Sara became a lawyer because she wanted to help people, and has devoted her career to helping victims of accidents. Sara is admitted to the Florida Bar, the U.S. District Court Southern District of Florida, the U.S. District Court Middle District of Florida, and the U.S. District Court Northern District of Florida, and has practiced extensively in both state and federal courts all across the state of Florida. Sara has handled a plethora of cases against many large corporations, such as Walmart, Target, Walgreens, Publix, Walt Disney World, Carnival Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Norwegian Cruise Lines, as well as against almost every major insurance company.
Sara grew up in New York City and attended the renowned Bronx High School of Science. She then attended Bryn Mawr College, where she double majored in Philosophy and Political Science and graduated cum laude. Sara completed a fellowship with the Center for the Study of the Presidency in Washington, D.C., and the abstract of her paper for this fellowship was published by the Center. Sara also worked for both Hillary Rodham Clinton's Senate Office and Senate re-election campaign before moving to Miami to attend the University of Miami Law School. There, she earned her Juris Doctor degree cum laude.
