Spencer Vereen is a native Arkansan, born in Central Arkansas and grew up in North Little Rock. After high school he attended Vanderbilt for his undergraduate studies and graduated with a degree in Political Science and History. After working abroad, Spencer moved back to Arkansas and began working in a personal injury law firm dealing almost exclusively in medical malpractice. After witnessing how corporate entities treat ordinary people when negligence occurs this compelled him to attend law school. Spencer attended the UALR Bowen School of Law while working in personal injury throughout his studies, and was a member of the Moot Court Team.
In his last year, Spencer spent much of his time working in the Low-Income Tax Clinic, assisting people by negotiating with the IRS. Upon graduation he continued to work for the firm from where he started in personal injury. His work allowed him to develop an ability to understand the intersection of medicine and law. This in turn allows him to better understand injuries and argue on behalf of his clients against corporate America. Spencer felt called to Caddell Reynolds because of their passion for fighting for the average person. He likes how hard the firm works to advance the rights of those injured by the negligence of others. The notion of closure is often at the center of his mind while working with clients. Not only are clients trying to get better physically, emotionally and spiritually, they often need closure. Spencer strives to achieve this closure for clients through the judicial system.
When not working Spencer spends time with his wife and two dogs, Louis and Kiwi while enjoying all the wonders the Natural State has to offer. In the summer you can often find him at one of the many lakes throughout Arkansas, he enjoys fishing with his wife and loves to cast a line whenever possible
