Jeffrey K. Moore, Jr. is native of Nashville, Tennessee. He earned his Bachelor of Political Science at Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio, where he graduated with honors. After completing his undergraduate degree, Mr. Moore attended the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. During his tenure at the University of Memphis, Mr. Moore clerked at several institutions, including International Paper, Memphis Area Legal Services, and Shelby County Schools. Additionally, Mr. Moore served as the judicial law clerk for the Honorable Felicia Corbin Johnson in Shelby County Circuit Court Div. I. This experience provided him with a wealth of exposure to a variety of nuanced and complex areas of law and granted him an expansive view of the litigation process.
Mr. Moore has a profound love for debate and advocacy. While in law school, he served as a member of the Moot Court Board and competed in several Moot Court Competitions, appearing as a finalist in the 2017 Cecil C. Humphreys’ In-School Mock Trial Competition and receiving a designation of Top-Five Trial Advocate. Additionally, Mr. Moore received a Certification of Advocacy upon completion of his law degree.
