Attorney Kenneth O. Cooper is a Senior Attorney at the Reaves Law Firm, PLLC. A distinguished litigator, Attorney Cooper has tried multiple cases to verdict in the courts of Mississippi and Tennessee in his over twenty years of practice. He is licensed to practice in the State of Tennessee as well as Mississippi. He is licensed to practice in the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi. He is also licensed to practice in the United States Circuit Courts of Appeal for the Fifth, Sixth and Eleventh Circuits. Ken received both his B.A. (1995) and Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi (1999). After graduation, Attorney Cooper began his practice at a Plaintiff’s firm, and then concentrated his practice in employment litigation, railroad litigation (FELA), medical negligence litigation, toxic tort litigation, and personal injury defense, including the defense of catastrophic injury claims, while working as a partner and of counsel at both small and large highly respected defense firms. While working at the large defense firm, Attorney Cooper successfully handled a race and sex discrimination case filed against one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical manufacturers. It was during this representation that Attorney Cooper realized that it was no longer satisfying for him representing large corporations and insurance companies…he wanted to help people in their times of need.
