Louis P. Chiozza, Jr. was born in Memphis, Tennessee. He is the founding member of The Chiozza Law Firm. He received his undergraduate degree from St. Bernard College in Cullman, Alabama where he was a part of Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities. He then obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis and began practicing law in August 1968. He began his legal career as an Assistant Public Defender in Memphis, Tennessee then entered the private practice of law. Throughout his many years of practice, Mr. Chiozza has been very active in trial work and tried numerous cases involving personal injury, medical malpractice, nursing home malpractice, automobile accidents, tractor-trailer accidents and workers’ compensation. He is an active speaker at State and local Bar seminars on various aspects of the legal profession and was a 1991 inductee into the Special Law Section of Who’s Who in Tennessee. Mr. Chiozza is a member of the Tennessee and American Bar associations and the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association. He is also a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Chiozza is also a certified mediator and arbitrator.
