Keri Smith grew up in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees at The University of Memphis where she graduated with honors with a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Political Science. An interesting fact about Keri is that while she was getting her Master’s degree she worked full time at Nahon, Saharovich, and Trotz as an intake specialist. After graduate school, Keri returned home to Missouri and attended law school at St. Louis University. While in law school, Keri was the Notes & Comments Editor of Law Review, was published in St. Louis University Public Law Review, and worked as a law clerk at an established personal injury firm. She was able to gain a wealth of experience in personal injury as a clerk and even argued in front of The Eastern District Court of Appeals. Since law school, Keri has practiced in the areas of personal injury and insurance defense giving her a unique view and strategy in helping her client’s as she has an insider’s view on how defense firms prepare their cases. After several years of practice Keri has returned to the NST family.
