Melanie is originally from Michigan where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in secondary English education with a minor in history from Wayne State University. After college Melanie taught high school English and History while earning a master’s degree in Educational Administration from Michigan State University. Melanie moved from Michigan to Florida to attend law school at Nova Southeastern University – Shepard Broad College of Law where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. During law school Melanie was an associate for Nova Law Review and clerked at The Injury Firm where she developed a passion for advocating on behalf of those injured by the negligence of others. When she is not advocating for her clients, Melanie enjoys practicing yoga, scuba diving, and cooking with her husband.
