Michael Berry was born and raised in Central Arkansas. He graduated from Little Rock Catholic High School for Boys in 2008 and went on to study English at Christian Brothers University in Memphis. After college, he came back home to teach English at Immaculate Conception School in North Little Rock. Berry taught for a few years, but eventually his drive to work for others and to help those in need sent him to law school.
At the UA Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law, Berry served as Editor-in-Chief of the UA Little Rock Law Review and had the honor of seeing his student note, Arkansas’s Un-American Approach to Attorney’s Fees for Breach of Contract, selected for publication. Since becoming an attorney he has had the privilege of serving the state and the nation as a Judge Advocate in the Arkansas Army National Guard.
