There was a report of a crash in the Best Buy parking lot, and both Clearwater Police and Fire & Rescue responded. On May 25, 2021, just before 11 a.m., a crash occurred in the Best Buy parking lot at the corner of Drew Street and US Highway 19. According to investigators, the driver of the red Audi lost control and collided with the parked white pickup truck and two other vehicles. A local hospital treated the injured Audi driver for minor injuries.
