Nathan C. Williams is native West Tennessean through and through. Raised on a small farm alongside his brothers, sisters, and cousins in Gibson County, Tennessee, Mr. Williams learned the value of hard work, sacrifice, honesty, and compassion. These are traits that he carries into his practice each and every day. He graduated from Milan High School in 1996. To this day, you will still find him in the bleachers cheering on his Bulldog football team every Friday night in the fall. Mr. Williams graduated cum laude from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2000 with a degree in Criminal Justice.
After completion of his undergraduate degree, Mr. Williams worked for a number of years for Community Corrections programs in Obion and Davidson Counties supervising felony offenders on community based release. It was in his role as a probation officer that he learned there is a fine balance between enforcing the standards of a rigorous probation program to promote public safety and welfare and utilizing compassion and providing probationers with the tools to succeed in life to avoid recidivism. During this time, Mr. Williams developed a passion for the courts and the law. Mr. Williams later applied to law school and graduated from the Nashville School of Law in 2008. He completed his law school studies while working full time as a legal assistant at a boutique family law firm and raising a family. He was admitted to practice law in all courts in the State of Tennessee in 2009
