Lloyd W. “Tré” Kitchens, III was born in Dallas Texas, but attended high school at Little Rock Central High. He is a graduate of Texas Christian University and University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law (1999). He resides in Little Rock with his wife, Alicia, and his three daughters.
Tré’s practice as a trial attorney has an emphasis in the areas of commercial litigation, medical malpractice, wrongful death and personal injury. He is in trial several times a year, and is most at home in a courtroom in front of a jury. His motto with litigation has always been to “hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.”
In 2017, the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association recognized him as the Outstanding Trial Lawyer for that year. He is a Past President of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association for 2010 and was voted Young Lawyer of the Year in 2002. From 2011-2017, he has been named by Soirée Magazine as the Best Business Litigation Lawyer. Also, in 2012, the Mid-South Super Lawyers added his name to their list of Rising Stars. He has taught continuing legal education classes on trial work and trial preparation, and has tried over 150 jury trials and appeals.
“If everything is going great, no one needs my services. People come to me for help, serious help. Whether your corporation needs an advocate, or you or a loved one has been seriously injured, when someone gives me the ultimate compliment of allowing me to be their lawyer, I give them my all. My job is to give my client the very best opportunity for success in each individual case.” One of his accomplishments is helping obtain the largest jury verdict for an individual in a racial discrimination case in the 8th Circuit of the United States. Mr. Kitchens has also obtained numerous jury verdicts, for the Plaintiff and the Defense, in contract and business litigation cases.
Working with The Brad Hendricks Law Firm since January of 2010 has allowed Tré to focus totally on his clients, with the complete support of a premier law firm. Litigating against fortune 100 companies, the federal government, trucking companies, and medical providers takes substantial resources and Mr. Kitchens and The Brad Hendricks Law Firm are able to bring those resources to bear for clients of the firm. He is licensed to practice in all State and Federal Courts in Arkansas, as well as the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals. Tré heads the commercial litigation section of the law firm
